Overview

Bodycote is the world’s largest provider of thermal processing services, employing highly skilled staff globally. The Braze Set Up C position in Rancho Dominguez, CA involves performing essential job functions associated with braze treatment to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Braze setup of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
• Torch braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
• Induction braze of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
• Braze assembly of customer parts in the Belt department.
• Operate and monitor Belt Furnace when customer parts are running.
• Work with various alloys and chemicals, including flux and acetone.
• Perform sandblasting and polishing on materials to ensure they are free from contaminants.
• Safely handle chemicals and solvents required for different fabrication processes.
• Utilize high-heat tools such as lightweight torch gun and induction machines.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Manufacturing/Aerospace environment.
• Braze experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases.
