Overview

Robinson Helicopter Company is a leading manufacturer of civil rotorcraft with a 50-year history of providing affordable helicopters for a wide range of applications. The company is located in Torrance, CA, and is seeking an Electrical Assembler in its Electrical Department.

Responsibilities

  • Crimping, soldering, and wire routing for helicopter cable and wire harness.
  • Electro-mechanical fabrication in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA approved data.

Requirements

  • Ability to use AMP, D.M.C and Molex hand crimpers and/or crimping machines.
  • Ability to solder thru-hole PC boards and D-subminiature connectors.
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra.
  • Must be capable of using calipers and basic measuring tools.
  • Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
