Job Description

Overview

As a Lighting Maintenance Technician at Wesco, you will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures, ensuring the functionality of facility systems. Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
  • Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log.
  • Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of service and maintenance of electric machinery required.
  • 2 years of facility repair and maintenance experience required.
  • 2 years of handling high voltage test equipment required; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficient in mechanical calibration.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
