Overview

The Maintenance Technician role involves the installation, assembly, and repair of equipment and structures related to buildings, requiring skills in various trades and effective communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, assembly, and repair of equipment, piping, and structures without direct supervision.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
• Utilize a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements in a timely manner.
• Work effectively with customers and other team members.
• Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of work performed.
• Troubleshoot machinery.
• Demonstrate hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Interpret blueprints.

Requirements

• 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
• Competency in one or more trades such as structural steel welding, pipefitting and plumbing, or millwright and machinery rigging.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Pass periodic observed drug screening.
• Pass a criminal background check.
