Overview
Aerzen USA Corp. is an international manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors, and turbo blowers used in essential industries. The Repair Technician I will disassemble and evaluate Aerzen products, diagnose issues, and complete repairs while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and evaluate incoming blowers, compressors, and other Aerzen products.
- Diagnose and recommend actions for machine repairs.
- Complete machine repairs and prepare reports.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
- Evaluate failures on various types of blowers and compressors.
- Read and use equipment diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Assemble Positive Displacement blowers, High Vacuum blowers, Delta Hybrid Blowers, and Compressors using standard rebuild kits.
- Prepare written repair reports documenting causes of failure and work performed.
- Perform equipment inspections and repairs on customer equipment onsite.
- Diagnose problems with Aerzen machines and offer recommendations.
- Train new team members on essential job functions.
- Participate in departmental initiatives such as inventory counts and shop organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) Required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.
- Computer skills in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet usage.
- Ability to use a forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, welding equipment, and measuring tools.
