Overview

Senior Manufacturing Engineer opportunity with a client located near the Hempstead, NY area, responsible for driving New Product Introduction and leading lean manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining, brazing, and welding within aerospace, defense, or medical device environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and implement lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize production processes.
  • Apply deep expertise in machining, brazing, and welding processes to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Partner with and guide early-career engineering talent using senior-level technical knowledge.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to influence stakeholders and streamline workflows.
  • Author, update, and validate detailed manufacturing documentation and operational instructions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Expertise in machining, brazing, and welding.
