Overview

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Pre-Troubleshoot Technician to join their Product Engineering & Troubleshooting/Repair department. This role involves supporting mechanical assembly and disassembly of Radio Base-station Units (RBU’s) in preparation for troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble radio units using electrical and pneumatic tools.
  • Perform cleaning on products during assembly and disassembly.
  • Conduct Air Leakage Test (ALT) operations according to standardized work instructions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and defect identification on products with mechanical or cosmetic issues.
  • Ensure product conformity by performing basic quality auditing and troubleshooting functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
  • Ability to resolve problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Readiness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic tools.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible shift hours when required.
