Overview

This position is for a Machine Operator 1 on the 2nd shift at RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company. The role involves operating various production machines and performing routine operations to support manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine operations and read process sheets.
  • Deburr and clean parts, gauge parts, and make minor offset changes with oversight.
  • Utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.
  • Clock labor in Solumina and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Document information on check sheets and maintain dimensional data.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and maintain acceptable quality levels.
  • Move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment.
  • Transport products and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at standard rates.
  • Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D in the US).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
