Job Description

Overview

This role is for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at a world-class manufacturer specializing in specialty chemicals. The company has a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being, providing opportunities for career growth within a robust maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting production equipment.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and uptime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and shutdown projects.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while following all plant procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following trades: Electrical, Mechanical, Pipefitting, Millwright, Welding, Machining.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • 1st shift position: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6pm-6am.
