Job Description
Overview
This position is for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at a world-class manufacturer specializing in specialty chemicals. The company has over 115 years of history and a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and employee well-being.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting production equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and uptime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and shutdown projects.
- Maintain a safe work environment while following all plant procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following trades: Electrical, Mechanical, Pipefitting, Millwright, Welding, Machining.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- 1st shift position: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6pm-6am.
