Overview

Hermeus is a venture-backed defense aviation company focused on rapid iterative prototyping to build the fastest aircraft. The MRO Propulsion Engineer will manage the lifecycle of F100 engines, working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own all or a significant portion of the F100 MRO lifecycle
  • Collaborate daily with cross-disciplinary engineers and technicians
  • Drive high-quality, safe, and efficient refurbishment processes
  • Support testing campaigns and engine acceptance activities
  • Contribute to a fast-paced environment where engineering and execution come together

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of F100 MRO experience, or experience with a similar-thrust class engine
  • 2+ years of professional experience designing flight propulsion hardware
  • Strong engineering fundamentals in combustion, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, structural dynamics, and materials science
