Overview

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) is a specialized division of EnerSys, focusing on cutting-edge energy solutions for the aerospace, defense, and medical industries. The Engineering Technician role supports both production and engineering by performing various tasks outside the scope of production operators.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment containing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to resolve breakdowns.
  • Change dies on a hydraulic powder compaction press daily.
  • Changeover and set up equipment, including changing tools and adjusting settings.
  • Develop manufacturing processes.
  • Write and edit work instructions.
  • Train operators.
  • Improve processes to reduce manufacturing scrap.
  • Perform validation testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in lean manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in AS9100 preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 13485 preferred.
