Overview

NextEra Energy Resources is one of America’s largest wholesale electricity generators, focusing on diverse energy sources to power progress. The PV Solar Field Technician III position involves the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies and related equipment at the Bluebell Solar site in Sterling City, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reliability engineering.
  • Manage warranty processes.
  • Conduct operation and basic maintenance of solar equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and power electronics.
  • Steward safety and environmental programs.
  • Supervise NEE employees and contractors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
  • Manage business duties and inventory.
  • Operate heavy equipment.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Grad / GED.
  • Experience: 0+ years.
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
  • Trade School Graduate (preferred).
  • Licensed Electrician (preferred).
  • Licensed Master Electrician (preferred).
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified (preferred).
