SSR Mining

Overview

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking highly motivated undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields for a full-time, paid internship in their Metallurgy Department during Summer 2026 at the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine in Cripple Creek, CO.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the metallurgical laboratory and assist with ongoing technical projects.
• Perform sample preparation, conduct process tests, collect and enter data, and contribute to report writing and analysis.
• Collaborate with metallurgists and other technical team members to solve real-world challenges.
• Gain exposure to other functional areas within the Metallurgy Department through potential cross-training opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Majoring in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Capable of conducting technical research and producing clear, concise documentation.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Additional Information

• The program will run from May through August, with flexibility on start and end dates based on student availability and business needs.
• This is an on-site position based at our Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine in Cripple Creek, CO.
