Overview

We are a growing 145-year-old multi-service sign company searching for a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator who enjoys building quality products and takes pride in precision work to join our sign production team. The successful candidate will likely have previously worked as a CNC router operator at a sign or related industry company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the routing of high-quality industrial and commercial signage components in a timely manner.
  • Work under limited supervision, following industry and regulatory safety precautions.
  • Organize workflow for routing projects in the shop.
  • Utilize MultiCam brand 4’ x 8’ CNC routing machines guided by industry standard RIP software.
  • Monitor cutting quality and adjust feeds and speeds when necessary.
  • Keep jobs flowing through the router process.
  • Create project specification information and maintain a clear, up-to-date computer file on each completed order.
  • Verify dimensions using common measuring equipment.
  • Label and organize completed parts.
  • Assist with fabrication, assembly, and finishing of signs when routing work is complete.

Requirements

  • Intermediate or expert level CNC router operator experience preferred.
  • Basic CNC routing/programming systems familiarity required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Valid and current driver's license preferred.
  • High school or GED diploma preferred.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Familiarity with operating CNC routers required.
  • 6 months+ experience operating CNC routers strongly preferred.
  • 1 year experience in the sign, woodworking, cabinet, or fabrication industry strongly preferred.

Additional Information

  • Full-Time position with an 8-hour day shift - Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
