Overview

ReIGNITE Hope is a faith-based non-profit vocational training school established in 2011, dedicated to equipping men and women on the margins of society with valuable skills, particularly in welding. The Class A Commercial Truck Driver/Welding Coach role involves safely transporting mobile training centers and mentoring students in welding, contributing to a mission-driven team that transforms lives.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and caring for equipment.
  • Maintaining trailer classrooms and ensuring they are supplied.
  • Safely transporting mobile training centers to and from class locations.
  • Performing required pre-trip inspections and following all traffic laws.
  • Keeping trucks and trailers clean and presentable.
  • Scheduling and performing routine maintenance and communicating equipment needs to supervisor.
  • Maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Assisting with classroom and trailer welding coaching when not driving.
  • Mentoring and encouraging students.

Requirements

  • Valid California Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience driving semi-tractor trailers.
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the last 7 years.
  • Certificate from an accredited CDL school.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and professionalism.
  • Commitment to upholding the Christian ethics of the ReIGNITE Hope mission.
