Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Perform welding using various techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW.
  • Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and ductwork.
  • Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble fabricated parts accurately.
  • Maintain safety protocols by adhering to OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction and fabrication projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with various welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
  • Mechanical knowledge of tools and shop math skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications related to metal components.
