Overview

CloudRay is hiring multiple MIG Welders for 1st Shift positions in Anniston, AL, Alexandria, AL, and Hokes Bluff, AL. The role involves setting up and operating machines for the production of hollow metal doors, requiring advanced welding and fitting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel and metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding.
  • Ensure welds meet quality standards and required specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels for accurate fitting.
  • Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure proper penetration and strength.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience.
  • Strong blueprint reading and weld symbol knowledge.
  • Ability to fit and fabricate without supervision.
  • Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabrication.
  • Ability to pass a weld test (if required).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to perform consistent, quality welds in a production environment.
  • Basic blueprint reading preferred.
  • Must pass a measurement test.
  • Must pass a Drug Screen & Background Check.
