Overview

Discover a career at Depot Connect International (DCI), a global leader in the Tank/ISO Tank Container Services and Tank Trailer Parts industry. The Gas Tank Mechanic role involves pressure testing and repairing tanks to ensure safe transportation of products.

Responsibilities

  • Pressure test tanks and ensure proper functioning of valves, gaskets, and gauges.
  • Drain and dry out tanks.
  • Repair and replace valves.
  • Repair and maintain tank containers using hand tools and power tools.
  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Repair and replace defective parts and inspect used parts.
  • Lubricate and clean parts, and operate metal working tools.

Requirements

  • Preferred candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred candidates will have a current forklift certification.
  • Candidates will possess a mechanical background.
  • Be able to wear a respirator and be comfortable with heights and enclosed spaces.
  • Have worked in an industrial setting.
