Overview

Icarus is an aerospace company focused on reclaiming the Stratosphere by building solar-powered aircraft that operate at 60,000 ft. They seek exceptional candidates who can contribute to their mission of re-establishing dominance in the Stratosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and validate subsystems for solar-powered aircraft.
  • Take ownership of flight systems from concept to reality.
  • Drive rapid iteration loops across design, integration, testing, and flight.
  • Work closely with the CEO and a small team of engineers.

Requirements

  • Exceptional engineering skills across various disciplines including mechanical, aerodynamics, RF, GNC, electrical, avionics, power electronics, energy storage, software, and systems.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and learn quickly.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware in the field.
