As a Natural Gas Field Mechanical Technician, you will operate and maintain a proprietary robotic system for repairing gas pipelines, contributing to methane leak reduction and supporting cleaner energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow site safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of pipeline repair technology.
  • Support safe job site setup including placement of traffic control devices.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Participate in training to build proficiency with company systems.
  • Perform routine system testing and monitor inventory levels.
  • Attend daily safety briefings and report prepared with PPE.
  • Monitor and support site operations to maintain productivity and safety.
  • Continue developing technical skills through training.
  • Operate company vehicles and travel to field sites as needed.
  • Travel to various job sites on short notice and work weekends or nights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electronics, or a related technical field.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license required for operation of company vehicles.
  • Ability to meet company motor vehicle safety requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, or troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Ability to operate small- to medium-sized utility trucks under 26,000 lbs.
  • Strong interest in technical systems and advanced field equipment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a safety-first mindset.
