Overview

Huntsman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Huntsman Building Solutions Division in Arlington, Texas. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a chemical manufacturing facility through various maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on process and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Support polyurethane and blended chemical manufacturing operations.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Perform welding, pipefitting, and light fabrication activities.
  • Document maintenance activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Participate in root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to equipment failures and process disruptions.
  • Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and the installation of new equipment.
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Demonstrated multi-craft maintenance skills in mechanical systems and at least one additional discipline.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safe work practices.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts, and respond to emergency call-outs.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and working in physically demanding positions.
