Overview

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. The Extrusion Maintenance Technician II position is an Electro-Mechanical role focused on supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
  • Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
  • Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes.
  • Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
  • Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to assist in training Level I Technicians.
