Overview

Greenmark Waste Solutions is a locally-owned solid waste and recycling collection company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Maintenance Technician A role involves performing repair and maintenance work on various diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform moderately complex welding processes on various materials.
  • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
  • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
  • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times.
  • Assist senior Mechanics in project work.
  • Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
  • Complete applicable Company training programs.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
  • Be over 21 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
