What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers, tractors, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service, with a heavy emphasis on trailer repair. Inspect and service trailers including bodies, brakes, suspension, hubs, axles, tires, and electrical and hydraulic systems. Perform diesel mechanic work on tractors and fleet equipment, including engine, drivetrain, brake, and electrical diagnostics and repair. Perform welding, fabrication, and structural trailer repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and DOT-compliant. Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication. Service area extends roughly 50 miles across the greater Philadelphia/South Jersey corridor. Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management. Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

5+ years’ experience repairing commercial trailers, with working knowledge of diesel tractors and fleet equipment. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Hands-on strength and stamina to lift 100+ pounds and work in a mobile service environment. Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation. Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently. Experience with welding a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree, a plus. Class A CDL is a plus. Your own tools and reliable transportation.
