The Machine Builder / Fabricator role involves building and assembling custom machinery and automation equipment, requiring strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from mechanical fabrication drawings.
• Provide feedback to the mechanical design team for improvements or clarifications.
• Perform precision fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
• Weld steel components to required specifications.
• Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Operate CNC equipment such as lathes and mills.
• Wire electrical panels according to provided electrical schematics.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist the automation team with equipment testing and troubleshooting.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to machine building and integration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading part and assembly drawings.
• Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machines.
• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with automation equipment and testing procedures.
• Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
• Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned.
