Overview

The Quality Inspector II role at Emerson involves adhering to quality management systems and performing various inspections and audits to ensure product quality. Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software, committed to innovation and employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and quality system regulations.
  • Conduct First Article Inspection and dimensional/GD&T of components during troubleshooting.
  • Perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections as per procedures.
  • Participate in quality audits and inspections, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Document nonconformance reports with adequate details.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of quality inspection experience.
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and performing inspections.
  • Proficient in the use of general measuring and test equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • High-energy, dynamic personality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
