Our client, an industry leader in oilfield services, is seeking an Engineering Technician/Technologist to join their team. As an Engineering Technician/Technologist, you will be part of the technical support department supporting field operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician/Technologist

Location: Sugarland, Texas

Pay Range: $32 Hourly

What's the Job?

Troubleshoot, service, and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in field operations Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical and hydraulic systems Perform maintenance and testing activities on downhole tools and related equipment Utilize computer-based software systems to support equipment diagnostics and operations Learn and support wireline cable-related operations as part of ongoing development within the role

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a closely related technical field Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and electronic troubleshooting Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuit troubleshooting Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications used for equipment diagnostics and operations
