The CNC Lathe Operator position on the 3rd shift involves operating CNC lathes and ensuring production efficiency while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Perform fabrication of lathe products with minimum supervision.
  • Edit CNC Programs for various lathes.
  • Operate all fabrication equipment in the area, including multiple machines.
  • Set up, load, and run equipment to manufacture and inspect components.
  • Make adjustments and assist operators to produce quality parts.
  • Utilize Standard Measuring Instruments for inspections.
  • Participate in team meetings for operational planning and improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 12 months CNC Lathe experience in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in machining thermoplastic materials preferred.
  • G-Code knowledge including understanding machine commands.
  • Proficient with operating a workstation computer.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
