Overview

At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to meet the growing demand for launch capacity, with a focus on the Terran R vehicle. The Senior Integration Technician will play a critical role in assembling, testing, and installing flight hardware, contributing to the development of a next-generation reusable rocket.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality.
  • Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware.
  • Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations.
  • Focus on assembly, installation, and testing of flight hardware for the Thrust Structure of Terran R, including Secondary Structures, Fluids Systems, Avionics Systems, and Engine Installations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware.
  • Possess a wide range of technical skills including fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.
  • Able to safely navigate and walk on uneven terrain or surfaces.
  • Able to frequently crouch, bend, or squat to access low-level areas or equipment.
  • Able to kneel to perform work duties, as needed throughout a shift.
  • Able to reach and extend arms overhead for the duration required to complete assembly tasks.

  • This is a second-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. PT.
  • The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.
  • Employees receive a 10% shift differential.
