Overview

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, specializes in power distribution and protection systems, focusing on relay and control panels, medium voltage switchgear, and enclosures. The LV Switchgear Mechanical Assembler role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components for switchgear projects in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and prints to manufacture wiring subassemblies for relay and control panels.
  • Crimp, strip, cut, pull, and bundle wiring according to plans.
  • Ensure wiring is properly labeled and marked.
  • Connect cut wires to components, and route the wire and cables in an orderly fashion.
  • Ensure quality workmanship of all wires and components.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical or mechanical components OR completion of a technical vocational program.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
  • Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements.
  • Basic understanding of tools such as tape measure, impact drill, and wire crimpers.

  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
  • Location: Dallas, Texas.
