Overview

As a Micro Electronics Assembler - Level 2 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, reworking, and repairing electrical components with precision and quality. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability of Honeywell Aerospace’s electronic products and supports production goals at the Lansdale, PA location.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, modify, rework, and repair electrical components, subassemblies, and moderately complex modules using schematic diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Ensure every build meets exacting standards by performing rework when needed.
  • Verify producibility during initial assembly to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Perform tasks from lower-level assembler roles and cross-train across other assembly positions.
  • Execute manual die-attach using epoxy and solder under a microscope.
  • Take on additional duties as needed to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience working as an electronic assembler.
  • Able to interpret and work with print and parts list, process sheets, and technical drawings.
  • Able to use hand tools such as tweezers and scalpels.
  • Able to work under a microscope for a minimum of 9 hours a day.
  • Able to work with components which are at a minimum of 5 mil square.
  • Able to use measurement tools and devices such as scales and calipers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
