Overview

As an Assembler III-Semi Rigid at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in assembling complex components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring high quality standards are met to support manufacturing operations. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work on-site in Lansdale, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules using samples, visual aids, prints, routing instructions and process sheets.
  • Uses solder, fasteners and adhesives in the assembly of electronic assemblies.
  • Verifies results for conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
  • Performs mechanical assembly operations using standard measuring tools and techniques.
  • Conducts electronic assembly operations such as wire termination and installation of electronic components.
  • Cleans parts and electronic assemblies per Work Instructions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (or equivalent).
  • 2-4 years’ experience working as an assembler.
  • 2 years’ soldering experience (JStandard).
  • Ability to interpret instructions on process sheets, prints or route cards and technical drawings.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of machine shop equipment such as drill press, lathes, and Bridgeport machines.
  • Ability to use hand tools like cutters, pliers, forming tools, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as scales, micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to identify, form and mount components.
  • Ability to use a microscope for an extended period during shift.
  • Ability to prep, crimp and set-up tools for conductors.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
