Overview

Nucor Warehouse Systems is seeking a Sandblaster/Painter in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves operating a powder coating spray booth and ensuring safety and quality in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Operate magnetized powder coating spray booth.
  • Identify, pick, and return powder boxes according to work schedule.
  • Demonstrate ability to spray powder to correct thickness range.
  • Spray a standard range of surfaces and overcoat rejected parts.
  • Clean spray guns and booths correctly.
  • Provide maintenance of spray gun parts and booths.
  • Prepare powder coating line before starting the process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation adhering to safety policies.
  • Report any unsafe areas or acts in the workplace.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Experience in sandblasting or powder coating in a manufacturing company.
  • Physically capable of working in a hot industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of basic safety, power tools, and productivity.
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Pay Rate: $19.27 per hour, plus weekly production bonus.
