Overview

MTH Industries is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and versatile Warehouse Worker to support warehouse and field operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift certification, crane certification, and previous commercial driving experience, and will be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, stage, and move materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
  • Safely operate cranes and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Load and unload trucks while properly securing materials.
  • Drive company vehicles and transport materials, equipment, or supplies as needed.
  • Operate Lopke/Lopcate-type equipment or similar material transport vehicles when required.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, condition, and accuracy.
  • Prepare, stage, and organize materials for jobs, deliveries, and production.
  • Handle glass, structural materials, fabricated products, and other materials safely.
  • Assist production and field teams with material and equipment needs.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and yard.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, union, and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation related to materials, deliveries, and equipment when required.
  • Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities throughout the workday.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, drivers, field employees, and management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Current forklift certification and demonstrated forklift operating experience.
  • Crane certification and experience safely operating crane equipment.
  • Previous commercial or material-delivery driving experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be currently affiliated with the applicable union or willing and eligible to join the union.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and transport materials.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding warehouse work.
  • Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and adjust to changing operational needs.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
