Overview

We are looking for a hard-working, flexible, and curious granite polisher and stone fabricator/support person to assist in stone fabrication and handling operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in honing and polishing granite edges and faces, and will support the overflow production workflow while participating in various stone fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Hone and polish granite edges and faces.
  • Support overflow production workflow.
  • Perform manual labor including handling heavy stone materials.
  • Conduct equipment maintenance, washdown, and slurry management.
  • Operate fork-lift and front-end loader.
  • Provide immediate support to those involved in fabrication.
  • Carry out actual fabrication tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in honing and polishing granite.
  • Preferred experience in raw material fabrication, especially natural stone.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workflow.
  • Skills in machine management and blueprint comprehension.
  • Experience in landscape or masonry trades is a benefit.
