Responsibilities

  • Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges.
  • Drain tank and ensure tank is dry.
  • Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues.
  • Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts.
  • Lubricate and clean parts.
  • Operate lathe, drill press and grinders.
  • Use hand tools and power tools.

Requirements

  • Candidates will possess a mechanical background.
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and be comfortable with heights on top of tanks.
  • Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks.
