Overview

Triple-S Steel is a company with over 50 years of experience, emphasizing stability, flexibility, and chemistry in its operations. They are seeking a motivated Production Equipment Operator responsible for executing work orders to meet customer requirements in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times.
  • Manipulate, cut and/or form raw material according to work orders.
  • Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment as assigned.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet.
  • Maintain spatial orientation and awareness in a moving work environment.
  • Use clear vision to judge distances and maintain awareness of ongoing work activities.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Attend all required company meetings.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to correctly read and understand work orders.
  • Ability to effectively use basic computer applications.
  • Demonstrate intermediate math skills.
  • Ability to safely meet or exceed minimum productivity levels.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of material and inventory control techniques.
  • Ability to maintain ongoing inter-department communications.
