Overview

Sonny's Enterprises is the world's largest manufacturer of conveyorized car wash equipment, recognized for innovating new technologies in the industry. They are seeking a Service Technician to service car wash systems across the United States, emphasizing independent work and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair of car wash systems at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Interact with customers reflecting courtesy and integrity.
  • Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders and planning travel schedules.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints and suggesting improvements.
  • Complete and submit accurate documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Safeguard company and customer information.
  • Comply with safety codes and regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Report any work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours.
  • Maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
  • Clean and inspect company-provided service vehicles weekly.
  • Assist in the training of new Service Technicians.
  • Contribute to team objectives by supporting colleagues.
  • Maintain the highest level of skills for service of specified systems.
  • Provide status updates on service work performed on-site.
  • Train customer personnel on equipment use.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; preference for Technical School graduates.
  • Five years minimum of hands-on installation or construction field experience.
  • Prior experience in Electrical, Automotive, HVAC, or Welding is a plus.
  • Travel required.
  • Proper coordination and motor skills to work with power/hand tools.
  • Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
