Overview

Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Entry Level Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in maintenance or trade-related work, with some experience or education in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools and power tools to install, set up, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, and building systems.
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance of production equipment.
  • Conduct repair and maintenance tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair and maintenance of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Interpret blueprints and/or schematics for assigned equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental and safety laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Assist in maintenance of facility systems and utilities.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in maintenance or trade-related work.
  • Some experience or education in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Perform basic shop mathematics.
  • Correctly measure and record dimensions of equipment and parts.
  • Completely and correctly sketch custom parts and tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment malfunctions.
  • Use powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Read and write memos, emails, and correspondence.
  • Enter, edit, read, and interpret maintenance records and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Hold a valid Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
  • Read technical documentation pertaining to assigned equipment.
  • Experience with Outlook and general computer skills.
  • Experience with, or the ability and desire to learn to use a scissor lift or boom lift.
  • Ability to access tight spaces to work on equipment.
