Overview

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to join their team in automotive remanufacturing. The role involves managing, designing, implementing, and maintaining technologies for various manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in cost and level of effort estimates studies for potential new product line launches.
  • Manages cost and level of effort estimates studies for potential projects.
  • Interfaces with customers and visits customer locations as needed.
  • Assists in the management of launches for new product lines.
  • Mentors less experienced Engineers.
  • Interfaces and collaborates with various engineering and technical teams.
  • Designs or assists in the design of advanced industrial equipment and systems.
  • Creates electrical and mechanical design architectures.
  • Creates standards for electrical and mechanical designs.
  • Advises on the status of equipment to determine necessary repairs, redesigns, or rebuilds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • Practical experience with data acquisition systems and PLCs.
  • Experience in designing and executing robotics and automation solutions.
  • Proficient in drawing electrical schematics using AutoCAD and Visio.
  • Experience in creating mechanical drawings using Inventor.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
  • Experience with PLC and HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Organized with skills in project management and technical writing.
