The Sleeve Cutter position at Parker Hannifin involves operating trimming or sleeve cutting machines while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities

  • Inspect area and equipment for safety hazards and report to supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Report all scrap material to Quality Control (QC).
  • Correct or report discrepancies in work instructions to supervisor or QC Manager.
  • Use computer to access work instructions.
  • Run products to computer specifications or work instructions.
  • Use measuring equipment to verify product dimensions.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Fill out Production/Scrap Data Sheet daily.
  • Run machines to produce parts to customer specifications.
  • Participate in team meetings to solve problems.
  • Be flexible to move to different jobs as required.
  • Take on team responsibilities such as relieving, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for approximately 85% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift tubs or boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to read and understand work instructions.
  • Solid work history is preferred.
