Job Description

Overview

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its local and regional team, providing exceptional services to enhance customer experience and maintain facilities. This role involves utilizing multiple craft skills in a fast-paced and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using various craft skills.
  • Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
  • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
  • Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
  • 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights frequently.
