Overview

Next Level Steel is seeking skilled Welder/Fitter/Fabricators to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fitting, ensuring that projects are completed with precision and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
  • Utilize Mig and Dual Shield welding techniques.
  • Work with structural steel for over 3 years of verifiable experience.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform necessary math calculations for shop tasks.
  • Lift materials and tools weighing 50-75 pounds consistently.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Arrive at work on time or early.
  • Wear required safety gear including steel-toe or composite-toe work boots with metatarsal guards.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, lift, stoop, twist, and bend as required.
  • Read and write in English and communicate effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of verifiable experience working with structural steel.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with Mig and Dual Shield welding.
  • Math skills for shop calculations.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
