Job Description

Overview

Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer in continuous glucose monitoring, aiming to improve health outcomes through innovative technology. The Equipment Technician 2-1A will be responsible for the preventative and reparative maintenance of manufacturing equipment and electronics in the Production and R&D Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive and reparative maintenance on production, manufacturing, and R&D equipment lines.
  • Maintain and write Equipment Binders and maintenance documents.
  • Perform installation qualifications and help maintain replacement parts.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturers to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Use hand and power tools, multimeters, and other test equipment.
  • Assist in equipment development activities as directed by project engineers.
  • Follow safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automated production/process equipment.
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and electro/mechanical systems.
  • Ability to perform equipment activities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
