Overview

U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated Facility Maintenance Technician who enjoys collaborating with others. In this role, you will use your technical skills alongside other technicians to accomplish complex projects while receiving valuable on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
  • Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
  • Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
  • Collaborate with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
  • Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep track of company truck and gas card.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
  • Must be 18 or older.
