Overview

JBM Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Tool Service Technician to join their Service Team in Warminster, Pennsylvania. This full-time position involves extensive travel and hands-on work with CNC machine tools and industrial manufacturing equipment, focusing on installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, level, align, and commission CNC machine tools at customer facilities.
  • Assist with machine setup, electrical connections, plumbing, and peripheral equipment.
  • Verify machine operation and functionality during installation and startup.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and coordinate with machine manufacturers.
  • Perform machine geometry checks and adjustments using precision measurement equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair CNC machine problems involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Use electrical schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on CNC machine tools.
  • Provide professional service to customers at their manufacturing facilities.
  • Complete detailed service reports documenting troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing CNC machinery or closely related industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, CNC controls, sensors, motors, and drives.
  • Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
