Overview

The Maintenance Clerk position at Costco involves building and repairing fixtures and structures, performing routine maintenance and repairs for various machinery and equipment, and ensuring a high level of member service.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs for warehouse and ancillary business machinery and equipment.
  • Builds and repairs fixtures, structures, and displays using hand and power tools.
  • Repairs plumbing problems and installs and maintains plumbing fixtures.
  • Repairs electrical systems under 50 volts.
  • Participates in janitorial duties and maintains cleanliness of the warehouse and grounds.
  • Follows safety and security procedures while working on electrical equipment.
  • Checks daily schedule for assigned tasks and jobs.
  • Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as needed.
  • Assists with department duties and in other departments as necessary.
