Overview

We are looking for an experienced Custom Fabricator to join a hands-on manufacturing environment specializing in custom metal fabrication and made-to-order products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building, fitting, modifying, and welding custom components rather than performing repetitive production work.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld custom steel components and assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications
  • Perform accurate layout, measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fit-up
  • Perform MIG welding on steel and ensure clean, structurally sound welds
  • Use hand and power tools, saws, grinders, drills, and other fabrication equipment
  • Assemble components and make adjustments to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Work with different vehicle-specific and custom configurations
  • Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and appearance
  • Troubleshoot fitment or fabrication issues and determine the best solution
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional fabrication experience
  • Strong MIG welding skills
  • Experience with custom or low-volume fabrication
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints or fabrication drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with measuring, layout, cutting, grinding, and fit-up
  • Ability to work independently and take a project from start to finish
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
