Overview

The .com General Maintenance Associate S5 position at Walmart involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment while ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing.
  • Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documents according to procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks and hydraulic systems.
  • Operate material handling equipment and other powered machinery.
  • Clean and maintain grounds, parking lots, and building facilities.
  • Change industrial batteries and maintain equipment batteries according to procedures.
  • Assist other maintenance technicians in repairs and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems.

Requirements

  • 1 year's experience in repairing/maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial or non-industrial setting, or 2 years' related vocational training.
